Potential Internship Opportunity in Oaxaca, Mexico

CEE is developing an opportunity for a student in the junior class to
travel next summer to Oaxaca, Mexico. The student would spend 6-8 weeks
working in a privately funded development program in a rural area. The
student will receive travel costs, housing, meals and a small stipend.
PSU course credit will also be available. The selected student will
also be the recipient of a scholarship in their senior year.

The successful applicant must possess:

· High degree of motivation

· Strong work ethic

· Responsibility and reliability

· Ability to work independently

· Basic Spanish skills

Help Wanted!

We are looking to fill two positions to help out treasurer Norm with his SFC (Student Fund Committee) duties:

Responsiblilities for the SFC Liason include:

- Meeting the movers and shakers of the PSU circuit
- Working with the treasurer on writing a budget for the upcoming year
- Attending SFC meetings/budget hearings (usually food is served) with or in place of the treasurer.

Responsibilities for the Grantwriter include:

- Seeking out grants supporting engineering service learning and community/infrastructure development projects
- Writing grant proposals and coordinating with treasurer on submittals
